The ZORG project aims to achieve a unified understanding of the links between zinc electrolyte chemistry, HER and dendrite growth by developing a set of multi-scale characterization tools to analyze the role of the local zinc interface in relation to the overall electrolyte chemistry in correlation with the extent of HER and the morphological evolution of the zinc surface in order to fill the gap in studies that correlate systematically correlate a given set of characterization tools with a panel of zinc electrolytes covering known chemistries.
