HYDELEC

Completed

The innovative project is the development of a process for the elaboration of ceramic electrochemical cells and their pre-industrialization as part of the SOFC hydrogen fuel cell to achieve a reversible electricity / hydrogen conversion. Hydrogen is the most promising new energy. Hydrogen can be produced from electricity and stored in reservoirs (electricity storage version) or reversibly produced electricity locally from hydrogen. Based on the CEA-Le Ripault for the cell study part, SRT-Microceramique (specialist in the realization of multilayer ceramic metal) will treat the industrial production component. Innovations will be at both levels: improvement of existing cells and adaptation for mass production. The applications range from mobility through the manufacture of hydrogen for supply stations, energy storage through the manufacture of hydrogen from the source of free heat of the methanisation type or industrial processes and the production of hydrogen. electricity in the individual. This study is an essential element for setting up a high-yielding hydrogen sector in France.
