The Hydrogen storage is currently one of the key technologies to leverage the Hydrogen value-chain and its applications, in particular for transportation. The HYPE project addresses the main issues regarding the compressed-Hydrogen storage for automotive application: cost, volume and customer/social acceptance. The project final demonstrator will be a compressed-Hydrogen cylinder featuring an enhanced storage capacity and its fire protection though maintaining the same volume and cost.
