Faced with the inexorable exhaustion of fossil fuels, the renewable energy market is now growing rapidly. Unlike its European neighbors and more distant (United States, Australia, Japan ...), France does not offer a competitive energy conversion solution in the sector of renewable energies connected to the network. The Center region is made up of industries and laboratories whose technological advances would make it possible to achieve this function, with good technical and economic performances (reduction of mass and volume, high efficiency, reliability, costs, etc.). This project aims to ensure the distribution of energy for the entire building from a renewable energy source (a photovoltaic module, a wind turbine, a fuel cell, etc.), and to reinject the surplus ( or all of the energy self-generated by the building, typically a few KW) on the public outdoor network. This is called an installation coupled on the network. Each building deviate self-generating energy. The objective of the CARENE project is to allow the placing on the market of a grid-coupled inverter allowing to respond to requests for residential / tertiary buildings (3 to 36 kVA) by a French actor and thus to participate in the explosion of this market.
