OPTIM

Materials able to generate electricity from heat (Seebeck effect) or inversely, to dissipate heat and cool (Peltier effect) open opportunities to tremendous applications, in particular within buildings. The OPTIM project explores the promising properties of Titanium oxides in the neighbouring of metal-Mott insulator transition by varying their size, their interaction and their electronic concentrations.
