The current bank card offers services only when connected to a terminal, in addition, some services are only accessible by user interaction with that terminal. The emergence of new technologies around flexible screens, keypads and energy storage, as well as the appearance of very low consumption controllers, will enable new features to be introduced in the bank card. The overall objective of the CAPI project is to develop an innovative "all-in-one" EMV bank card solution incorporating both an extensive software base and new technological features, allowing the realization of a common trust support usable by a multiplicity of players in the financial sector and service providers.
