Currently, thanks to attractive feed-in tariffs, the production of photovoltaic installations is generally reinjected into the electricity distribution network. In the longer term, the objectives of factor 4 will encourage local consumption of locally produced energy. The main challenge lies in the design and sizing of intelligent systems capable of managing the production and consumption of the building so that it becomes partially or totally autonomous in energy. It is in this context that the DRIEA wished to initiate the realization of a demonstrator on its site of the street Miollis which makes it possible to highlight the interest of the self-consumption. The demonstrator will combine local photovoltaic generation, Lithium battery powered storage, low-power LED lighting and intelligent energy management technologies.
