STRATOBUS

The Stratobus platform is an airship concept at 20km altitude. Stratobus can provide all types of civilian or military missions, observation and surveillance, telecommunications and internet access, GPS reinforcement, control of the terrestrial environment. Its utility load is 250kg and 5kW. It is autonomous by converting solar energy by means of photovoltaic panels and using energy stored in a Reversible Night Fuel Cell. The electrical power on board is of the order of 200kW. This PSPC project concerns the High Voltage Power Conditionning Unit; power conditionning and distribution unit; electrical wiring, which will be realized by Tronico.
