The Smart Angel project aims at developing a global medical surveillance solution, combining multi-agent information systems, controlled connected medical devices and artificial intelligence. In the framework of the project the demonstration of effectiveness will be done on two cases of key uses of post-surgical surveillance: hospital follow-up "back to the room" and ambulatory follow-up "return home". Through this intelligent surveillance system, the partners aim to reduce postoperative mortality by 50% and readmissions by 10%.
