Waiting for a wake-up order, the appliances in stand-by mode have a relatively low consumption. But this consumption cumulated for a year may nevertheless reach several kWh per equipment. The RWU project targets to drastically lower (1000 ratio), or even to suppress this stand-by consumption while allowing the device wake-up through an appropriate handheld command.
