This project addresses two issues, the limitation of cellular colonization on the surface of implanted titanium devices and the post-process characterization of Ti and TiO2 surfaces. In the second case, it is important to understand the changes experienced by the surfaces during the various process steps (such as plasma engraving, thermal and chemical treatments, etc.) and to ensure that they retain their biocompatibility. This project will be led by the teams of the GREMI and ICMN laboratories, 2 joint research units CNRS-Université d'Orléans, as well as part of the R&D department of the start-up MISTIC whose staff in the Central Region are based in Orléans. The complementarity of these partners will lead to the mastery of the condition of titanium-based surfaces, a crucial point for this "Medtech" type of technology. The research work will be carried out on the CERTeM technology platforms in Orléans and Tours.
