It involves developing a prototype of a thermoelectric microgenerator (TE) using thin layers of new materials in line with environmental standards. Current TE components use compounds containing toxic elements (tellurium, lead, bismuth). The market for energy recovery-based systems is expanding, with the use of TE components for nomadic electronics, autonomous sensors, and microbattery power systems.
