MEPS – FLEXIBLE (APRR CENTRE)

Completed

The heart of this project is to develop a Perpetual Energy Module prototype that integrates, on a flexible substrate: 1) a piezoelectric micro-generator that recovers and converts ambient mechanical energy into electrical energy 2) a power management circuit 3) a Lithium micro-battery This new type of stand-alone module is not commercially available today. It should find a prominent place in many applications such as nomadic electronics, medical implants, smart clothing and autonomous abandoned sensors.
