This project proposes to study magneto-electric couplings at the interfaces of piezoelectric / ferromagnetic multilayers. In these heterostructures the ferromagnetic resonance can be electrically controlled opening the way to new frequency-tunable microelectronic components. The adjustment in the electric field is carried out by transfer of elastic deformation between the layers, via the magnetostrictive effect in the ferromagnetic layer.
