CENSE

Completed

The CENSE project focuses on the development of an original methodology for the characterization of urban sound environments. The work is based on the implementation of data assimilation techniques, allowing to merge simulation results (noise maps modeled with free data) and measurements (via a low-cost sensor network " massively "distributed, using a street lighting network for data transfer). The ultimate goal is to offer "classic" noise maps, supplemented by information on the quality of the sound environment.
