Multidisciplinary (Arts and Human sciences, Law, Economy, Management and business, Letters and Languages, Health, Sciences and Techniques, two University Institutes of Technologies, an engineering school), the François-Rabelais university is situated in the heart of Tours. With more than 40 research laboratories, it displays as the first institution of public research in the Centre region. It also has a large cultural offer, with a theater of about 600 places and a cultural studying passport giving access to more than 50 regional cultural structures with privileged rates.
