SYLVIACARE

The risks of fire in the natural environment and their impacts are increasingly important. Only a rapid and precise detection allows an effective engagement of the emergency services and thus a limitation of the damage caused. The objective of SYLVIACARE is the development of solutions allowing early and geolocalised detection of fires in natural environments. These solutions are based on discrete networks of communicating and energy autonomous sensors. They are mainly aimed at managers and operators of forest areas, farmers (preservation of harvests, storage, etc.) as well as the preservation of any heritage subject to this type of risk.
