The SYDEV, Union Departmental Energy and Facilities Vendée Vendée is the owner of electricity distribution networks low and medium voltage (21 600 km) and gas (more than 2300 km).   The 282 common Vendée have transferred competence to it ensures the proper execution of public service distribution of electricity and gas service.
