SMILE – Smart Ideas to Link Energies

Since 2016, SMILE has been accompanying, supporting and promoting the deployment of innovative projects linked to smart grids (intelligent energy systems). Around a hundred projects have already been approved, divided into 5 main themes: smart territories and flexibility, smart buildings and individual or collective self-consumption, non-interconnected areas, mobility and energy demand management. Showroom areas in Nantes and Rennes are also available to discover SMILE projects and the associated themes and challenges.

Smart territories, new models for energy production and management in buildings, awareness-raising and support for energy demand management, electric mobility, micro-grids and collective self-consumption, deployment of new models for grid integration and renewable energy markets, energy data management platforms, flexibility and grid services.
