ICAM NANTES

Since 1988, year of creation of the Icam site of Nantes, the curriculum of the formation of engineer Icam is composed of two years of integrated preparatory classes and three years of engineering cycle. The research laboratories were created in 1991, and finally the year 1993 marks the opening of the vocational training center. With more than 50 research and development contracts, Icam is positioned as a partner of local companies in various sectors of activity: renewable energy, aeronautics, automotive, agri-food and shipbuilding. ... Icam is organized in different laboratories: information systems, electrical and automatic engineering, mechanics, energy, materials and production.

Icam's business sectors are quite varied: renewable energy, aeronautics, automotive, agri-food and shipbuilding. Icam works on the following lines of research: • Production of renewable energies: wind, photovoltaic • Energy management (smart grids) • Sustainable computing and connected objects (green computing and smart systems)
