CESI Ecole d'Ingénieurs is a higher education establishment founded in 1958 by industrial companies. With 25 campuses throughout France, the school currently trains 28,000 students a year in the fields of industry and innovation, IT and digital technology, building and civil engineering, and embedded systems. The school has a HCERES-accredited research laboratory, LINEACT, which develops research activities linked to the various areas of training. This strong link between education and research enables the school to take account of technological and socio-economical developments in all its courses. On the Orléans campus, research activities are focused on 'intelligent buildings' and methods for ensuring optimum comfort for occupants.
