Mobile electronic devices are part of our daily lives. These mobile devices require a powerful, compact, durable and economical energy storage unit. Thus the micro-battery integration is a key element for the development of all these applications. We propose a manufacturing method by pneumatic spraying (or spray) and by electrostatic spraying (or electrospray) which allows the integration of these micro-batteries on all types of supports, surfaces and shapes. Another advantage of this method of manufacture, it is inexpensive in terms of cost of equipment, but also in terms of energy consumption. Through the choice of suitable materials and their shaping in thin layers, a micro-battery all solid and flexible can be manufactured. These micro-batteries will be suitable for various applications such as stand-alone micro-systems for medical monitoring, micro-gas sensors, RFID tags and smart cards. Unlike current micro-batteries, µBaGS will operate on a principle similar to that of conventional Li-ion batteries but using an organic polymer electrolyte and composite graphene-silicon based electrodes developed by less expensive methods.
