CELEZ

Completed

This project is intended to develop high-performance active materials for the design of new-generation photovoltaic cells. These devices for converting solar energy into electrical energy have the advantage of being inexpensive, compatible with flexible substrates and can be manufactured on a large scale. In recent years, these new generation hybrid devices can seriously compete with their inorganic silicon counterparts with conversion yields close to 20%. The active materials of these cells will be developed on the one hand by laboratories of the University François Rabelais of Tours, together with a start-up specialized in the manufacture of a type of component. The cells will then be assembled and tested in collaboration with a laboratory of the University of Limoges, expert in this field.
